Micah earned her bachelor’s degree in K-12 Art Education from Chadron State College, a small teaching college in Nebraska. After a few years in the classroom though, she found herself drawn to the nonprofit world and since 2010 Micah has been supporting Wyoming nonprofits through her work.  Today Micah serves as the director of programs at the Wyoming Community Foundation. She enjoys learning about the incredible nonprofits across the state and being a resource to nonprofits and donors focused on making Wyoming a better place.  Micah has a seven year-old son, Esher, who loves pretending and climbing, an 11 year-old rescue puppy named Lenard who is obsessive about walks, and a tech-loving partner named Rich who has ran at least a mile every day for 13 years. Micah loves chocolate chip cookie dough and most any chance to get outside.

Megan Sukys serves as chief strategy & communications officer at Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF). With her teammates, she develops stories, strategy, content, tools and implementation to connect Pierce County community voice to GTCF's philanthropic investments and supports.

 

Before entering the philanthropic world, Megan produced and shared stories of life in the Pacific Northwest as an executive producer and host on KUOW-NPR Seattle. She also works as an independent story consultant helping individuals and organizations tell their stories to motivate and inspire community building. She shares her own stories on-stage and online as a writer, performer, MC and co-founder of the stage show, Drunken Telegraph.
