About the event 

The Rural Funders Group provides space for peers to talk together about the challenges, opportunities and hopes they have for the rural communities they serve. Philanthropy Northwest convenes meeting spaces for rural funders in the region to deepen learning and cultivate support around increasing and promoting equity in their rural communities.

In this session, we will be focusing on the topic of data centers and rural communities. Following up on Philanthropy Northwest Network Call: AI Data Centers and Northwest Communities, we will be holding space for a rural specific conversation, acknowledging the reality that most buildouts of AI data centers in the Northwest are targeted in rural communities, where land and resources are readily available.
