Community Agreements

All participants – including attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff, contractors, and venue employees – are expected to:

  • Engage in a respectful, professional, and non-disruptive manner throughout the conference.
  • Comply with instructions from session moderators, speakers and staff.
  • Respect confidentiality requests by speakers and attendees.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidance outlined below.


Registration Policy

All registration fees for PNW26 are final and non-refundable. Please ensure that you and your institution understand and accept this policy before completing registration.


Health and Safety Guidance

Philanthropy Northwest will comply with all applicable federal, state and local health authority requirements as well as any specific guidelines required by the Dena’ina Center.

To support a healthy conference environment, Philanthropy Northwest will:

  • Have a limited supply of personal protective equipment (including masks and sanitizers) available.
  • Have a system on-site for denoting one’s level of comfort with social distance and contact.
  • Update our health and safety guidance as appropriate and adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) practices (For information about COVID-19 risks, travel guidelines and more, visit the CDC’s website).


What We Ask of Attendees

To help protect your health and the well-being of others, please observe the following practices during PNW26:

  • Stay home if you are ill. We recommend that you do not travel and attend if you are sick, exhibit symptoms and/or have tested positive for COVID-19 or influenza.
    • If you feel unwell onsite, please refrain from attending sessions and take appropriate precautions to protect yourself and others.
    • If you test positive during the event, we ask that you isolate in your hotel room.
  • Respect personal comfort levels. Mask-wearing is optional and welcome based on individual preference. Please be mindful of others’ social distancing choices.
  • Practice good hygiene. Wash or sanitize hands frequently to help reduce the spread of germs.


PNW26 registration includes the following terms:

  • By registering for this in-person conference, you acknowledge and understand you are knowingly and freely assuming all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, including, but not limited to, COVID-19.
  • If you test positive for COVID-19 or influenza and need to stay in your hotel room, you are responsible for your own meals and any related hotel charges or extensions.
