About this event

Join Philanthropy Northwest and the Regional Community Foundation Network for an opportunity to share ideas with other community foundation staff around bringing donors along in your racial equity work.

Lora Terry Blalock, vice president of philanthropic services at Community Foundation for Greater Birmingham, will join us to discuss:

  • How their organization is shifting its work towards racial equity,
  • How they're presenting this work to donors,
  • What information they're gathering from donors (including surveys) and
  • How they're using their role as a convener to bring in speakers to share about racial equity in their community.

We'll also hear from Lori Bartczak, senior director of knowledge and content at Community Wealth Partners, who will give us insights from their 2021 Community Foundation Cohort focused on how to talk to donors about racial equity.

This call is designed to be an informal conversation for participants to share questions, challenges and solutions with each other.

Please contact Mares Asfaha with any questions.
