Informal Gathering of Funder and Nonprofits: Get a B.E.E.R. and Undo Nonprofit Power Dynamics Day!

Thu, May 25, 2017,
4:00pm to 6:00pm PDT
Seattle, WA
3714 S. Hudson St, Seattle, WA

Please join us for the official "Get a B.E.E.R.* and Undo Nonprofit Power Dynamics Day." B.E.E.R. stands for “Beverage to Enhance Equity in Relationships,” and does not have to be alcoholic.

This informal meetup is for funders and nonprofits to spend more time with each other. There is only one rule: there's to be no agenda - none of the pitches, check-ins and reporting on progress that characterize so many interactions. Rainier Valley Corps, the Vietnamese Friendship Association and Philanthropy Northwest have teamed up to host in Southeast Seattle.

Date: Thursday, May 25th
Time: 4:00-6:00pm
Location: Super Six, 3714 S. Hudson St in Columbia City
Getting there: Super Six is within walking distance of the Columbia City Light Rail Station, on the #7 bus route and has a generous parking lot next door.
Things to know: This is an un-hosted gathering

We hope to see you soon!

P.S. B.E.E.R. is happening all over the country! Cleveland, Baltimore, Washington DC, the Forum, Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers, GEO and Center for Effective Philanthropy are all joining in in on the fun that was kicked off last year by Vu Le, of Nonprofit AF (formerly Nonprofit with Balls). Come on, Seattle, let’s represent!
