Let’s Go Outside (the sector)!
How well do you think your community understands the work and impact of organized philanthropy?  We’ll talk about the lessons from the Philanthropy Awareness Initiative (PAI).  The initiative helped foundations and philanthropy associations improve communications and outreach to influential Americans. We’ll cover some PAI’s key findings and explore how funders can improve the way they talk about their work and impact with those outside the sector. What you learn will surprise you…

Guest speaker: Mark Sedway, The Giving Practice.  Mark led the Philanthropy Awareness Initiative for many years.
