Join us for our spring Pierce County Funders meeting to learn about how the Green Schoolyards program was conceived and implemented through cross-sector collaboration with The Trust for Public Land, Metro Parks, the Tacoma School District, as well as with support from the local philanthropic community. Our guest speakers will share more about the program and the key factors that led to its success.

The Pierce County Funders Group is a network comprised of Philanthropy Northwest members and other grantmakers who fund in Pierce County, Washington. During these quarterly meetings, the group comes together to expand their knowledge about the Pierce County community, network with fellow Pierce County grantmakers and identify opportunities where they can leverage the group's resources to achieve greater impact. 


Participation in this meeting is open to philanthropic organizations that are currently making grants in Pierce County. This includes corporate giving offices, private and public foundations, community foundations, government grantmakers and CDFI institutions with a philanthropic focus. You do not need to be a Philanthropy Northwest member to participate but do need to represent an organizational philanthropic institution. Please do not join this call if you are a nonprofit organization or an individual who is not affiliated with a grantmaking organization.
