Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from each event?
At PNW22 Illuminate we are building community for a more connected, inclusive and equitable future for our sector. We value and center voices and experiences of leaders, embrace a reparative lens to philanthropy and lift up our Northwest communities.
At the Virtual Summit on October 6 you can expect inspiring speakers, time to connect with your peers, skill-building opportunities, fresh ideas for our field, and moments for art and music! The conference will run from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm PDT with a built-in break; that way you can stay focused during the live sessions while still having time in your workday for other tasks.
At the In-Person Member Retreat on October 11-13 you can expect ample opportunity to build and deepen relationships with fellow Philanthropy Northwest members, share stories to surface the collective wisdom of our network, participate in interactive sessions, imagine the future of our sector and leave energized for the work ahead.

When do I need to register by?
For the Virtual Summit, the registration deadline is Friday, September 23 at 11:50 pm PDT. The registration price increases by $25 between September 24 and October 5. Registration ends at 5 pm PDT on October 5. To provide the best conference experience for everyone, same-day registration is not an option.
For the In-Person Member Retreat, we expect to reach our seat limit very quickly. If there are any remaining seats, the registration deadline is Friday, September 16 at 11:50 pm PDT.
What are the health and safety measures for the In-Person Member Retreat?
Philanthropy Northwest is taking a slow, measured approach back to in-person events, so we have intentionally designed this event with fewer participants. Anyone attending the In-Person Member Retreat must agree to follow Philanthropy Northwest's Health and Safety Protocols.
What does it mean that Philanthropy Northwest members need to be in good standing to get the member rate?
We are delighted to offer member rates to current members of Philanthropy Northwest. To be in good standing, your annual membership dues should be up to date. A non-member rate will apply if dues are not paid. Email our membership team for help with dues, membership questions and payment.
How do I request an accommodation?
Philanthropy Northwest strives to make our events accessible to everyone. If you require an accommodation or service to fully participate, please indicate this in your registration form. You can also contact JulieAnne Behar, senior manager of programs.
