If your foundation's mission is to support Indian Country, Opportunity Zones (OZ) are a powerful way tool to do this. This Tribal Opportunity Zone Reception on November 14 preceeds the day long Washington State Department of Commerce Opportunty Zone Summit on November 15.
This reception is to ensure that Tribes who are attending the November 15 convening have the opportunity to explore how Opportunity Zones can work in Tribal communities, and to share best practices. Special guest Vince Logan, who was appointed by President Obama as Special Trustee for American Indians and is now working with Tribes in the Southeast on Opportunity Zones and will share his insights. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
This event is hosted by the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians Economic Development Corporation, Washington State Department of Commerce and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
Location: Bell Harbor Conference Center, Seattle, WA
