Philanthropy Northwest is excited to partner with the Trust-Based Philanthropy Project to offer the first-ever Trust-Based Philanthropy Cohort. This is the third session in a four-part curriculum.

What do relationships and structures look like in a trust-based organization? Becoming a trust-based organization requires a cultural and systemic approach from board to staff to grantees to communities. In this session, participants will have an opportunity to hear about different approaches and tools used by organizations working to become trust-based. This conversation will focus on the different parts of a foundation’s operations and ecosystems. Participants will leave this session with a tool to survey what obstacles they encounter or might encounter when moving towards operating as a fully trust-based organization.

To learn more about the cohort refer to the Trust-Based Philanthropy Cohort page. Please reach out to Mares Asfaha if you have any questions.
