Hosted by United Philanthropy Forum, PolicyWorks Institute is a skills-building and networking event for philanthropy-serving organizations and foundations that want to strengthen their policy and advocacy work. FOTH is a two-day advocacy event following PolicyWorks Institute that brings together hundreds of foundation leaders from across the country to meet with Congress to discuss issues of critical importance to philanthropy. Each year, Philanthropy Northwest staff leads a delegation from our region.
PolicyWorks Institute will take place on March 8-9, 2020, and FOTH will follow on March 9-11, 2020.
If you are planning to join, or are considering joining, the Philanthropy Northwest delegation for the first time, this Welcome Orientation webinar is for you! The webinar will feature information about the benefits of participating in PolicyWorks Institute and FOTH as well as what you can expect to experience at both events. You will hear from colleagues that have led groups of their members to Washington, DC in the past and participated in the PolicyWorks Institute. United Philanthropy Forum staff and past participants will field your questions and help get you ready for the important work and exciting opportunities to expand your organization’s policy capacity and outreach.
Audience: Any expected attendees of Foundations on the Hill and/or PolicyWorks Institute
