Together we can keep food on the table for all Washingtonians.
Right now, over 2 million people in our state don’t have enough to eat. The WA Food Fund is raising money to meet this urgent demand. We’re seeing lines outside food banks grow longer every day, while food bank donations have plummeted 70%.
WE’RE CALLING ON PEOPLE ACROSS THE STATE TO JOIN US IN RAISING MONEY TO KEEP FOOD BANKS AND PANTRIES STOCKED.

SET YOURSELF A FUN CHALLENGE TO HELP MEET YOUR FUNDRAISING GOAL
Adding a challenge or incentive can help you reach your fundraising goal sooner. Here are a few ideas to help get you started.
Use your creativity to make something for people who donate - from baking, sewing, to card-making. Whether it’s a skill you already know, or something you want to learn, giving your donors a keep-sake or thing to enjoy can be fun and rewarding.

Start a Fitness Challenge
Setting a fitness fundraising challenge is a great motivator to keep healthy and help others. Do a pushup for every dollar raised, or walk a mile for every donor. Just make sure it’s an activity you enjoy, and that you are physically fit for the challenge.

Have a celebration coming up? Ask for donations to the WA Food Fund instead of receiving gifts. Or maybe you want to challenge yourself to go without a luxury you use every day, like coffee.
WE’VE SEEN PEOPLE GOING WITHOUT TO HELP THE WA FOOD FUND, LIKE ONE DONOR WHO GAVE A LARGE PORTION OF HIS STIMULUS CHECK.
