A hands-on, interactive children’s museum, KidsQuest encourages learning through play with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). There is something for everyone with over 25 innovative exhibits designed for children 0-10 and their families. Plus, an outside space perfect for building and playing music. KidsQuest offers a variety of unique programs throughout the year including early learning classes, summer camps, school age workshops, free art and science programs, plus special events.

Responsibilities and Duties
o Oversee all logistics related to KidsQuest annual fundraising events, BizQuest and Imagination Celebration. o Responsible for in-kind donation procurement for each event, as well as management and communication with volunteers supporting procurement. o Manage relationships with vendors and program participants including, but not limited to, speakers, video production, printing, mailing, catering, audiovisual. o Assist with the development and fulfillment of each event budget and analysis of return on investment. o Assist with program development and scripting. o Effectively engage and communicate with guest captains, sponsors, staff, volunteers, vendors, and attendees. o Collaborate with marketing team members to develop communications and collateral to achieve event attendance, procurement, and fundraising goals. Produce necessary event materials including guest lists, invitations, displays, and programs. o Manage event-day logistics and implementation of fundraising events, including registration, volunteers, vendors, and program participants. o Ensure timely reporting, post-event communication, and acknowledgements
Donor Database Adminstration-
o Manage the daily operation of donor database (Altru). o Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data input and output. Enter all gifts into database. Complete consistent data entry for all donations received. o Ensure reconciliation with Finance Department on a weekly basis. o Create and provide gift receipts and statements as requested. o Maintain database for maximum efficiency for the museum. o Update donor contact and payment information. o Pull names and leads for mailings, eblasts, and other campaigns as requested. o Run database reports as needed. o Collaboration with IT for database support.
Experience and Qualifications
• Experience in non-profit fundraising and fundraising events required. • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Platform and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred. • Proficiency in Altru (a Blackbaud product), donor, or CRM database preferred. • Experience with InDesign Suite preferred. • Ability to use written and verbal communication effectively with a wide variety of individuals including donors, corporate representatives, teens, children, and parents. • Experience working in a museum environment preferred. • Experience working on a small team preferred. • Friendly, outgoing, and poised personality. • Detail oriented and extremely reliable. • Ability to maintain current driver’s license preferred. • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time, work outdoors, move from ground to above shoulder, ascend/descend stairs, position self to bend, stoop, sit, push, and pull.
