St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle and King County joins the community to listen, engage, and build relationships that assist and advocate for individuals and families to meet basic needs and achieve stability and self-sufficiency. We have been doing work in Seattle and King County for close to 100 years and around the world for 185 years. St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County has served 46,998 people, 4,002 households have been supported by our Foodbank, we have received 51,745 calls and online requests to our Helpline, and 17,498 person to person visits have been made by our volunteers. 89 cents of every dollar donated supports St. Vincent de Paul’s programs (figures are from 2017/2018).
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle/King County is looking for an energetic, dynamic Director of Philanthropy/Development to work in conjunction with the Executive Director on all aspects of development by supporting leadership, cultural renewal and strategic direction. The successful candidate will ensure growth and sustainability of the Society’s Annual and Capital Campaigns by cultivating individual, corporate and foundation giving and fundraising, while understanding the changing demands of philanthropy.
Master’s degree preferred and at least five years of fundraising experience, or related experience focused on major gifts and launching a capital campaign are required.
