Organization Overview:

Techbridge Girls is an award-winning national nonprofit organization that excites, educates and equips girls from low-income communities to achieve better life chances and financial freedom through STEM. Since the launch of our programs in 2000, Techbridge Girls has directly served over 7,000 girls in grades 4-12 through after-school and summer programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Seattle, and Washington, DC. In our Professional Development work (we train out of school providers in our after-school model), we have served over 20,000 girls through our national partnerships with the Society of Women Engineers, Girl Scouts USA, and the YMCA USA. Additionally, Techbridge Girls has trained over 20,000 role models, teachers and families to support a girl’s path toward STEM. With an annual organizational budget of approximately $3.7 million and roughly 20 employees, Techbridge Girls is poised for bold growth to increase its impact.  Our Pacific Northwest (PNW) office, which opened in Greater Seattle in 2014, currently operates 14 programs and serves more than 300 girls each year.

Our mission is to level the playing field and empower girls from low-income communities to achieve upward mobility and financial stability. To achieve our mission, we design high-quality, fun STEM programs and learning experiences and we train educators to deliver our unique programs to marginalized girls across the U.S.   For more information, please visit www.techbridgegirls.org.
