Communication Matters: Facebook & Twitter

Communication Matters is Philanthropy Northwest's community of practice for philanthropy communications professionals. At our October 2016 meeting, we'll talk about using Facebook and Twitter to message our missions. What works ... and what needs work? Maria Rigou of Marguerite Casey Foundation and others will share tips, demonstrate tools and brainstorm new strategies. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops, examples and questions to share. This group is for Philanthropy Northwest members. Registration is required. Simplifying Strategy: Peer Learning Session for Corporate Philanthropy

Corporate leaders will hear from FSG Managing Directors Greg Hills and Patty Russell about three tools for advancing societal engagement efforts. Hills and Russell will discuss their recent publication, "Simplifying Strategy: A Practical Toolkit for Corporate Societal Engagement" and lead participants through interactive exercises to uncover potential applications of the tools to your work.
