Current trends threaten to worsen, unless we can answer the design challenge before us. Can we create an economic system — beginning at the local level — that builds the wealth and prosperity of everyone? As many of you know, Pierce County recently announced 50% or more cutbacks for youth homelessness service providers. As a group of funding peers in Pierce County, we would like to convene a quick Funder Huddle to try and begin to understand this serious situation. We will not have speakers or a program. It is intended to be a “this concerns us, let’s huddle and use the power of the network to figure this out together” discussion.
