Anne loves connecting people, ideas and resources. She brings over 20 years of experience in foundation, nonprofit and corporate organizational management, development and governance, strategic communications and philanthropic advising. At The Giving Practice (TGP), Anne focuses on a range of strategic advisory work, which includes conducting organizational assessments to develop and refresh internal systems, structures and human resources, as well as running comprehensive programmatic and executive searches, developing grantmaking programs and systems and convening grantees.

Prior to joining TGP, Anne led multi-generational family foundations in their development of shared visions and strategies at Arabella Advisors, managed a multimillion-dollar charitable giving budget, provided grantmaking consultation and board training to executives in the banking sector and worked to increase access to resources for communities of color, immigrants, refugees, low-income families, women and children as a program officer at Seattle Foundation.

Anne holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College. She spends her time as a constant learner navigating the daily adventures of parenting two children and getting her hands dirty with natural dyes, traditional Japanese textile design and printmaking.
