Shekinah serves as liaison to Philanthropy Northwest’s board of directors. In her role, she directly supports the work of the director of regional strategies and networks in addition to providing administrative support to the chief executive officer. Shekinah began her nonprofit career over fifteen years ago at the American College of Cardiology and has held positions at the American Society of Addiction Medicine and, most recently, at Georgetown University. She holds a bachelor's degree in social science from the University of Maryland. In the office environment, she is passionate about project management and operational efficiency. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exploring nature.
