Tunde’s nonprofit career has been a journey of discovery and passion. Her commitment to nonprofit work began with her position at the Allen Institute for Brain Science in Seattle. She has been using her background to add value and make change in an ever-changing world ever since. Tunde has extensive experience as an executive assistant supporting presidents, CEOs and boards of directors. She comes to us from Children’s Home Society of Washington where she was a strategic partner with their CEO and the two boards she supported, furthering the vision and mission of the organization. She brings all of those skills to her current position as the executive assistant and board liaison at Philanthropy Northwest.

Tunde is Hungarian, was born in Montreal, Quebec and entered the United States when her parents left Hungary. She grew up in Colorado and moved north to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. Since then, she has called Washington home. She currently lives in Edmonds and no weeks go by when she isn’t found walking the beaches in her neighborhood. In her spare time, Tunde enjoys being outside, cooking food from her culture and reading.
