Emily is an experienced strategist, problem-solver and organization-builder in nonprofits, foundations and businesses. She strives to catalyze organizational clarity and momentum through strong planning, research and decision-making, informed by authentic conversations and connections with leaders and stakeholders.
Emily’s experience is rooted in her professional beginnings at The Boston Consulting Group, an MBA from Stanford and fourteen years at The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she served as program officer, strategy officer and chief of staff to the CEO. Emily is also a dedicated community volunteer, most recently serving as board president at The Northwest School.
Originally from Wyoming, she has lived in the Wallingford neighborhood in Seattle since 2001 and enjoys studying Spanish, spending time in the outdoors and going on adventures with her husband, two teenagers and corgi named Jasper.
