Emily is passionate about shifting the narrative of wealth-building toward a holistic, equitable and sustainable approach rooted in community-led models. She is excited to contribute to TGP's work by bringing her participatory research, evaluation and organizational leadership expertise to the philanthropic sector.

Before joining TGP, Emily attended Brandeis University, earning her Master of Public Policy and Master of Business Administration degrees. While in school, she worked as a graduate research assistant at the Institute for Economic and Racial Equity. Through this work, Emily concentrated on addressing racial and economic equity in philanthropy. She also co-founded a civic-action group focused on education, engagement and empowerment in local government. Earlier in her career, Emily worked in fundraising for community-based organizations in Oregon.

In her spare time, Emily loves to get outside and hike, camp or paddleboard with her husband and their dog Luna. She is also typically found biking to the nearest coffee shop.
