The tool helps foundations and boards gain impact investing knowledge by scanning examples, learning from other foundations and assessing different approaches, as well as gauging the board’s appetite to learn more. The guide features “investment example cards,” which board members draw at random to learn about real impact investment strategies other foundations are using.
