Mark Sedway has been a consultant to foundations, philanthropy associations and other nonprofit organizations for more than two decades.
At The Giving Practice, Mark provides consulting to clients in the areas of strategy, culture, governance, collaboration, communications, business modeling and organizational learning. He helps clients make an impact in these areas through group facilitation, strategic planning, collaborative inquiry, research and development, and tool and visual design. He has developed multiple reports, guides, and tools on strategy, business modeling, collaboration and leadership in philanthropy.
Mark loves helping clients generate good ideas and evolve strategically. He feels grateful for his amazing clients every day.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in government and a master’s degree in public policy, both from Harvard University. He lives in the Seattle area and will talk about his son, Dash, for as long as you will let him.
