Ryan is a program manager and federal grants practitioner who has spent his career trying to make complex systems work for the communities they are meant to serve. He came to this work after spending two decades managing USAID-funded programs in post-conflict environments across Asia, Africa and Europe, and has recently made the turn toward investing those same skills in the Pacific Northwest. Ryan lives in Bellingham where he has been humbled as a fruit farmer and is focused on supporting his teenage children as they navigate their own lives.
