During our time together, you can expect to hear from inspiring speakers, time to connect with your peers, skill-building opportunities, fresh ideas for our field, moments for art and music, and more! Throughout the conference, we will explore the three Philanthropy Northwest 50th anniversary learning pillars – the future of philanthropy, technology and impact, and community-centered philanthropy. We will also have special opportunities to see and learn about our host city of Anchorage, Alaska.

PNW26 is open for anyone to attend, but is an event designed by and for funders in the Northwest.  

No matter your role in a grantmaking organization – from CEOs to program officers to operations and communications staff – the PNW26 Conference will leave you with new ideas you can implement in your work. Past participants include corporate giving offices, private and public foundations, community foundations, tribal grantmaking entities, nonprofit grantmaking organizations, government grantmaking offices and impact investors. This is a peer-to-peer learning opportunity for funders and we encourage you to bring your whole team!

We are delighted to offer member rates to current members of Philanthropy Northwest. To be in good standing, make sure your annual membership is current by completing the renewal or membership application process. A non-member rate will apply if dues are not paid. There are a handful of spots left in our primary PNW26 hotel room block at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown. Please call the Marriott at 907-279-8000 to ask about availability for the special PNW26 room rate. This hotel is a convenient walk to the Dena’ina Center.

Alternatively, we encourage you to book with the PNW26 courtesy block at the Wildbirch Hotel for a special rate of $169/night, or one of the many other local hotels on Visit Anchorage’s website. 

For air travel, our longtime member and partner Alaska Airlines is generously offering PNW26 attendees a 7% discount on Alaska Airlines flights for the conference.

Please wear what you are comfortable in! Most attendees will be dressed in business casual clothing at the conference, but we encourage everyone to come dressed in whatever best facilitates your learning.

Weather varies during the fall in Alaska, so please check the forecast and pack accordingly. For certain activities like guided hikes and tours, you bring warm clothes and footwear suitable for the outdoors.
