Toward Transformation: A Collection of Lessons from 20 Community Philanthropies Working to Advance Equitable Philanthropy
Toward Transformation is a letter from philanthropy to philanthropy, layered with honest reflection, peer support and calls-to-action to inspire collective transformation toward equitable philanthropy.
The guide begins by offering a data-driven look at 20 community philanthropy organizations' equity journeys — including data visualizations and trends across the first six years of their work. Then, the 20 organizations offer four critical lessons that they've learned across the entirety of their journeys:

- Neutrality Does Not Serve Our Communities
- We Are the Key to Accountability
Throughout their reflections and stories, the authors offer resources, tools, and practical advice for other community philanthropies on the journey toward equity.
