Developed by experts in the philanthropic sector, Philanthropy Institute: Practical Skills & Strategies for Emerging Practitioners (formerly known as Best Practices: Essential Skills and Strategies for New Grantmakers) is the field’s standardized orientation for grantmakers. Through our listserv and bimonthly meetings, members have the opportunity to learn from their peers, share communication tips and strategies, and promote each other's work. At our February 2016 meeting, we'll talk about using data and infographics to tell our stories, including examples from Erica Klinger of Seattle Foundation and Anne Martens of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
