Foundation for Healthy Generations (formerly Comprehensive Health Education Foundation) will be celebrating 40 years of advancing health through education. We will be celebrating by bringing together local and national leaders, researchers and policymakers working at the leading edge of their fields towards transforming the community conditions for health. Coalescing for Change: Community Based Health Solutions is a two-day conference on September 17-18 that will inspire hope-filled action by bringing together science and community wisdom.

We believe that people and communities thrive when all are healthy, included and connected, and that complex social issues like building healthy communities need many voices from across professional sectors, agencies, regions and social-economic statuses for meaningful change. We also know that multigenerational prevention and early interventions that support children and families are integral to healthy communities and that people working together in often uncommon partnerships can be powerful leverage points for change. We hope you’ll join us in learning, sharing and connecting with others who are working to improve the contexts that shape the health and well-being of our communities.

Apply for a Scholarship

Scholarship applications to offset the registration fee are available. Apply now, notification of awards will be made by September 5, 2014. Scholarships range from 25%-100% off of registration. Priority will be given to applicants who will benefit from the opportunity to learn new information and be able to implement this in their community.
