About this event
Over the past several months, COVID-19 has laid bare disparities across many sectors. We know that education is a particularly vulnerable space that impacts not only academic achievement and social-emotional learning of young people, but profoundly impacts families as well. As schools across the nation continue with online learning into the fall, how are school districts and community-based organizations addressing the disparities when the achievement gap has grown even larger since the pandemic?
Join us for this call where our guest speakers will lead us in this important discussion and we will continue to learn more about philanthropy's role in supporting community response to the evolving COVID-19 outbreak.
- John King, CEO, The Education Trust
- Hatton Littman, Communications Director, Missoula County Public Schools
- Elizabeth Whitford, CEO, School's Out Washington
