About this event
We hope you’ll join us for COVID-19 Weekly Northwest Funders call on June 26 from 10-11:30 am PDT. This week's topic is Essential Workers & COVID-19. As this article in The Atlantic states, “Months into the pandemic, millions of low-wage workers are still facing an impossible choice: their lives or their livelihood.” “The pandemic exposed hazardous conditions, and workers should have a say in fixing them.”
Our speakers will share their expertise about:
- What’s happening on-the-ground: Community guest - pending
- Movement building with Haeyoung Yoon, National Domestic Workers Alliance
- Labor reform recommendations with Sharon Block, Labor & Worklife Program, Harvard Law School (featured in The Atlantic article above)
We hope you’ll join us for this important conversation.
