About this event
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly affects how the 2020 election is being conducted and has exacerbated existing racism and xenophobia. What can philanthropy do to support communities during what will be a bumpy election and aftermath? On this call, we will cover the impact of COVID-19 on the election and voting with a racial equity lens. We will also discuss how groups on the ground are preparing and what philanthropy can do to support them now and to build a more reflective democracy going forward.
- Jesse Beason, Northwest Health Foundation
- Keecha Harris, Keecha Harris & Associates, member of the Brain Trust for Democracy Frontlines Fund
- Judith Le Blanc, Native Organizer’s Alliance
