About this event
Due to the prevalence of the wildfires throughout the West, we are pivoting the topic of the call to focus on wildfires and recovery. We will revisit the topic of mental health in a future call.
This week in our COVID-19 Northwest Funders call we will discuss wildfires and recovery. While we are still under threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, the West is suffering from catastrophic wildfires. Millions of acres in Oregon, Idaho and Washington are burning and hundreds of thousands of people are under evacuation orders or warnings. Join us to hear about critical needs, funds being stood up and lessons learned in healing and prevention of future fires.
- Chairman Rodney Cawston, Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation
- Anne Kubisch, The Ford Family Foundation
- Jessica Stewart-Kuntz, Montana Community Foundation
- Regine Webster, Center for Disaster Philanthropy
