2020 has laid bare the harsh realities of anti-Blackness in America. Black communities have been doing the work for years but continue to be significantly underfunded by the philanthropic sector. In this session, we’ll hear how public and private foundations are thinking beyond the moment. Speakers will highlight lessons learned as their organizations are integrating a racial equity lens internally, using an intersectional framework that accounts for various identities and lived experiences, building relationships with Black communities and funding Black-led social change.
