In this session, we will explore “liminality,” an in-between period typically marked by uncertainty. Though liminality might seem like an abstract concept, we have found it can be a powerful tool to reflect on personal and professional moments of transition. This session is designed for those who want to better manage the ambiguity and uncertainty of such moments. How can your organization move forward when so much is unclear, and the stakes are so high? How might you work with colleagues to hold space in difficult times and discover new ways forward? We’ll answer these questions and you’ll hear firsthand how leadership from The Zarrow Family Foundation is navigating liminality as they commit the entirety of their joint family foundation funds toward racial justice. Come to this session to explore and practice more effective behaviors in “the spaces between” (including the ones we are experiencing right now!).
