Without a robust onboarding process, peer mentoring and continuing engagement, board members may not find ways to contribute their unique expertise to your foundation's work. In this session, leadership from Greater Tacoma Community Foundation will discuss their approach to network mapping for board recruitment, onboarding, mentorship and ongoing board learning. Session participants will also get a chance to surface the stakes of a board culture that sustains strategic goals and generate a list of actions to strengthen board culture for strategic sustainability.
