The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network’s Immigrant Relief Fund of $502M is the largest fund for undocumented people in the nation to date. This session will equip philanthropic leaders, foundation trustees, staff and donors with best practices for trust-based philanthropy, recommendations to build immigrant people power, and an operational blueprint on how to mobilize and redistribute resources. We will cover best practices and key learnings drawn from our proven and tested model for transforming crisis into political power, elevate the expertise of immigrants leading and living at the intersections of various forms of oppression, and make recommendations for strategic changes to philanthropy's practices and posture with directly-impacted community organizations.
Join this session if you are interested in Moving Resources and Public Policy.
