The Seacoast Trust represents a unique and innovative approach to conservation finance, combining Indigenous stewardship values with sustainable economic development strategies. It’s rooted in Indigenous values and prioritizes self-determination for the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian peoples of Southeast Alaska. This session will offer attendees an opportunity to learn directly from the Trust's leaders and partners, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges, strategies and successes that have shaped this groundbreaking initiative.
