About this event

Philanthropy Northwest members get access to all National Center for Family Philanthropy (NCFP) programs through our reciprocal membership.

How does your organization’s lifespan align with your family philanthropy’s mission and purpose? This webinar will guide families through making intentional decisions about their philanthropic lifespan. During the session we will hear real-life examples and discuss:

  • How to decide if or when to revisit conversations around lifespan, and who is involved in these conversations?

  • How does your designated lifespan allow you to best serve your community and meet your strategic goals?

  • If you have made the decision to spend down what is the process of designing and implementing a spenddown strategy?

Whether you’re exploring the notion of sunsetting or seeking to refine your family’s philanthropic approach this session will equip you with the tools to ensure your family’s philanthropic mission thrives and evolves in harmony with your vision, values, and the changing landscape of giving.
