Philanthropy Northwest is proud to be the home to a distinct fellowship program, designed to advance philanthropy, elevate the conversation and inspire action.
The Momentum Fellowship prepares professionals from underrepresented communities, particularly communities of color, for successful careers in the philanthropic sector. Our 2017 Momentum Fellows include 10 leaders from diverse backgrounds, experiences and communities. In the second cohort, we had four returning host funders, as well as three new organizations. We are proud to support these rising leaders through a suite of activities, mentorships and reflective practices, sharing their journey through our blog and social media channels. In our 2015 inaugural cohort, nine talented individuals worked at six foundations across the region. After completing their fellowship, five fellows started working in full-time positions in philanthropy.
The application process for the next cohort began in January 2019. See Currently Hiring under our Program Overview for positions that we are actively recruiting now. Check back here frequently from February through April 2019 for new postings.
