Role Responsibilities:
The Philanthropy Internship position is a term-limited, full-time, position for an undergraduate or graduate student. This position will work with their supervisor to complete specific, defined projects, gaining hands-on experience in the world of philanthropy and Alaskan non-profits.
Essential Responsibilities
- Completes body of work described in the 2024 Intern Project Description.
- Provides administrative support as needed.
- Participates in group meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and site visits.
- Completes other projects assigned by CEO or designee.
Candidate Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Alignment with the Foundation’s mission and vision.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Interest in philanthropy and community service.
- Must have a love of Alaska and a desire to learn more about the state and its people.
- Able to work independently with modest direction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software.
