About this event

Philanthropy Northwest, Thrive Washington and the Washington State Department of Early Learning invite you to engage with leaders from across the country about Pay for Success. Pay for Success is an innovative financing model that can help drive resources to programs that deliver positive outcomes for people in need and improves accountability for public spending. Several organizations in Washington state are exploring Pay for Success as a way to launch or scale high-quality prevention programs. Together, we will start a conversation about the potential for Pay for Success in our region.

We are honored to have many distinguished guest speakers join us for this event, including Dr. David Willis, Director of the Division of Home Visiting and Early Childhood Systems at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and other leaders representing philanthropy, private investment, government and nonprofit organizations who are actively involved in Pay for Success projects. Speakers will cover a range of topics including the lifecycle of Pay for Success deals, how Pay for Success supports systems building efforts, the roles that funders and investors can play throughout a project, and emerging opportunities here in Washington state. We’ll end the day with a happy hour reception. A detailed agenda is available here.

We hope you will join us on November 18 to learn more about this exciting work and the potential opportunities for Pay for Success in our state.
