About this event
Whether or not you have been hosting virtual meetings for ages, or are newly needing to adapt, we all are finding ourselves thrust into a new virtual meeting world amidst COVID-19 pandemic precautions. Philanthropy Northwest will be offering weekly Virtual Meetings 101 to cover some basics, and help point you in a helpful direction for next steps. These will run once a week through late April.
Each week the content will be the same, so you only need to attend once.
This training will cover:
- Overview of Zoom platform and functions
- Helpful house-keeping tips and instructions
- Effective use of chat function
- Roles and Preparation
- Difference between 'pivoting to an online meeting' and 'building a virtual meeting' - setting expectations and outcomes
While the content will last one hour, we will stay on the call for an additional 30 minutes for technical assistance and problem-solving.
*This program is intended for folks working at foundations, in any role, who will need to be planning or managing virtual meetings. You should have access to video participation to best utilize this program and its content.*
