About this event

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many organizations, including foundations, are operating remotely to keep their employees safe. The transition to remote work has increased reliance on virtual private networks (VPNs), and devices that normally wouldn’t leave the office environment are now facing increased internet exposure — making it simpler for attackers to identify easy targets and access confidential information.

This includes sensitive data about foundation assets, employees, trustees and grant decision-making processes, as well as confidential information about not-for-profit grantees and their constituencies. As foundations continue to adjust to remote work, it’s important for funders and their not-for-profit partners to have an up-to-date cybersecurity strategy to protect their organization and their grantees.

Join us for a webcast addressing cyber risks your organization could face and steps you can take to protect vulnerable systems and reduce visibility to attackers. Discussion topics we’ll address include:

  • Ways to identify your organization’s risk
  • How to keep wireless networks and other devices secure
  • Cloud technology and security
  • Cybersecurity policies and training
