With the COVID-19 pandemic, the protests against racial injustice across the country and the existing housing crisis, there is an opportunity to reimagine what systems look like and how philanthropy can respond for housing justice. Real systems change will require philanthropy to not just fund differently, but also use our voice to advocate for equitable policies and to build the public will to back those changes. In this session, we’ll hear from place-based funders and national experts who will lay out an agenda with clear, concrete examples of relationship-building and funding strategies, advocacy needs and public will-building campaigns.
