Although direct service is important to provide, direct service alone cannot solve the gaps and inequities that exist in our communities. Long-term support to organizations doing advocacy and systems change work is necessary to truly support community. How are community foundations evolving their work to support systems change work, and what should they be thinking about as they communicate about this and engage community, board members and donors in this work?
