Oesa is an enthusiastic life-long learner. An avid reader and yoga student, she appreciates new knowledge and experiences. While she has roots in Canada and Hawai’i, Oesa calls the greater Seattle area home and has for over twenty-five years now. With prior experience in nonprofit organizations and public education, Oesa has enjoyed delving into the world of philanthropy at Philanthropy Northwest. Oesa holds master’s degrees in public administration and international studies from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Oregon. In her free time, Oesa enjoys exploring eclectic restaurants, traveling to sunny destinations and spending time with her kids and cats.
