This session will share the story of Marguerite Casey Foundation's journey to align its endowment with its mission in less than six years. Participants will learn about the robust, values-aligned screening for the foundation's investments, in addition to the racial and gender diversity and inclusion requirements for the companies overseeing them. This session will include hearing directly from two managers about the experience of seeking funding in the current landscape, in addition to sharing their approaches in the public and private equity markets. Participants will gain ideas on implementation and actionable ideas on how to shift their institutional practices to align their endowment with their mission.
