Denise has over 20 years of expertise in grant management, research administration and financial stewardship across the non-profit, academic and governmental sectors. She is committed to fostering strong relationships and advancing social and environmental causes through efficient resource management.

Throughout her career, Denise has overseen multi-million-dollar grants in the U.S. and Africa, supporting initiatives in areas such as breast cancer prevention and early detection, marine science, environmental conservation, historic preservation, archaeological research and human rights.

She holds degrees in anthropology and accounting and is currently working towards a master's in project management through a competitive fellowship. Denise is dedicated to ensuring accountability, transparency and precision in every project, helping philanthropic efforts achieve their financial objectives, while upholding the values of equity and sustainability.

Denise has spent her life moving and traveling throughout the US and abroad, but for the last 13 years has called Seward, Alaska home. Her personal interests include anthropology, animal behavior and traveling.  In her spare time, she can be found planning her next adventure or simply enjoying nature with her rescued Anatolian Shepherd and Golden Retriever.  She loves the Alaskan people as much as the landscape and feels grateful for the opportunities that are abundant in this unique part of the world.
