Dana is a writer and artist, who is passionate about working in diverse communities and cultures. Originally from Washington, D.C., she has held jobs with global nonprofits, the U.S. government and more recently with a local community foundation. She moved from the east coast to the Seattle area in 2019 with her family and has made the west coast her home. She thrives on human connection, and most of her career has centered around her values—particularly focused on empowering communities to make decisions based on reliable information.
She loves spending time with family, friends and animals, and she thoroughly enjoys exploring new areas in the sun or doing puzzles by the fire on a rainy day with a cup of tea. You can find her looking for new restaurants to try in Seattle.
